Why join the SENSE Conference?
In this Conference main results of the SENSE project will be presented, including the key environmental performance indicators and the SENSE TOOL to asses sustainability.

One of the issues the food industry faces is concerning the sustainability and eco-labels, such as Organic, Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, UTZ Certified, and so on. Are they comparable? Are there common approaches to measure sustainability performance? In the panel discussion key players will present their points of view regarding new horizons for sustainability, the performance measurement and the communication B2B and B2C.

The Food Roadmap for Sustainability will be discussed during the policy recommendation panel discussion. This roadmap includes a proposal supported by guidelines, tolls, focus areas and targets. During the panel discussions, you will have the opportunity to discuss with key stakeholder on the challenges related to sustainability that the food industry has to face.

Who should attend this conference?
The conference is aimed to stakeholders with an interest in creating a common approach to address social, environmental, ethical and economic challenges in food chains. Representatives from retail, branding & packaging, processing and production level and all stages in between, as well as research, advisory, support- and civil society organizations are invited.
